Presented by the MAC, ArtFest has been connecting our community to the world of art and fine craft since 1985.
In 2022 ArtFest returned to its origins and relocated from Coeur d'Alene Park to the MAC campus, where it began 38 years ago. The campus offers a beautiful, parklike backdrop with all the charm of the Browne’s Addition historic neighborhood and easy access to the MAC's amenities. Enter the festival grounds from First Avenue.
Our goal is to present the premiere juried art fair in Spokane and to provide a marketplace for artists to showcase handmade art and fine craft to art lovers throughout the Inland Northwest and beyond. Visitors will find painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry and much more. All sales go directly to the artists.
ArtFest is presented and produced by The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC), a nonprofit organization. Proceeds from the event support art education, exhibitions, and community programing for youth and adults at the MAC.
Friday, June 2 10 am-7 pm
Saturday, June 3 10 am-7 pm
Sunday, June 4 10 am-5 pm
The perimeter of ArtFest will be fenced with two entrances on First Avenue, near the museum's main entrance and near Campbell House. Admission is free - donations are encouraged.
To ensure that people can come and go from ArtFest with as few traffic delays as possible, First Avenue will be blocked from Hemlock Street to S. Poplar Street and W. Pacific Avenue. Only residents, emergency vehicles and disabled guests will be admitted at the barricade.
Free on-street parking available throughout Browne's Addition. Handicap parking available in the MAC parking garage - enter on Hemlock & Riverside. Elevator access is available to the ArtFest grounds level.
Spokane Transit Routes 20/33, 60 and 61 all stop within blocks of the MAC. Bike racks are available near the main ArtFest entrance.
The MAC will be open regular hours during ArtFest so visitors can combine their visits to the festival and museum exhibitions. Regular admission prices apply
